Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

CRAPPIE:  The crappie are biting in 12 - 20 feet of water.  Several good catches were brought in this morning with several fish pushing the 2 pound range.  The majority of the fish are in the 11-12 inch range.  The best colors are Tennessee Shad, Bubblegum, and Orange with Chartruse Tail. The best area is past Bell Lake toward the Dam.  Larger fish are in the deeper waters.

Bream:  The bream and shellcrackers are still biting.  Worms and crickets are the bait of choice.

Bass:  The bass are active moving from deeper waters to the mouths of the creeks.  Spinner baits have been working the best.

Catfish:  Biting stink bait all over the lake.
