Fishing Report 1 January 2011

Saturday, January 1st, 2011

Crappie: The cold weather has slowed the bite the last couple days.  Several local fishermen have managed to catch fish near the Dam.  The best colors are bubblegum, Bright Orange, and Stardust.  Some fish have been caught early in the main River using minnows.  With the warmer weather the fish should turn on soon.

Bass:  With the cold spell very few bass fishermen have been on the lake.

Bream:  Some good reports of bream being caught in the main river near the Highway 20 bridge.

Catfish:  Catfish are still being caught using worms and stinkbait.

Crappie Guide:  Don’t forget, if you need a guide for 1/2 or whole day, contact LTL at 850-627-3842.
