Fishing Report - 9/10/13

Tuesday, September 10th, 2013

Crappie -  Some good reports of crappie being caught trolling in 12 to 14 feet of water…mostly in Little River and the lake channels.  Jig colors acid rain, bubble gum…litewire hooks, orange and white.

Bream/Shellcracker - Good catches of bream and shellcracker still being caught in 5 to 7 feet of water…crickets and red worms have been the best baits.

Catfish - Lots of catfish still being caught all over the lake with Sonny’s bait.

Bass - Several nice bass caught in the pass few days…using trick worms and spinners.

Note:  We have plenty of Sonny’s Catfish Bait…

It’s time to start thinking about your fall trip to Lake Talquin.  October, November and December are excellent months for trolling for crappie.  Call ahead and reserve you a cabin or motel room…also we have guides available for crappie and bass…call or email for guides… or 850-627-3822.

We look forward to another great crappie season!
