Fishing Report - April 6, 2016

Crappie - It’s been another good week on Lake Talquin…even with the water level up and down …it has not stopped the bite.  Crappie is still being caught in the pads and trolling.  Best jig colors pink/pearl with chart tail, purple w/opaque tail and Tennessee shad..jig head colors orange, black and chart. Check photo gallery for new pictures..several crappie weighed in over 2lbs…couple 2lb/10oz and 2lb/12oz.

Bream - Good reports on bream in 2-3 feet of water…fishing with big red worms and crickets.

Catfish - Lots of catfish being caught with all the fresh water with pond worms and Sonny Stink bait…new shipment coming in this week.

Bass - Good reports on bass off the ledges.
