Fishing Report

Bream/Shellcrackers - Good reports on bream and shellcrackers….big may fly hatch out…from Rocky Comfort to the mouth of the Little River.

Catfish - All the catfish you want to catch in 8 -10 feet of water..all over the lake.

Bass - Good Reports on bass..on the points… Trick Worms and top water plugs.

Crappie - No Reports…on catching crappie… reports on seeing crappie in 10 feet of water in large schools.

Crappie - The crappie are still bitting in the creeks 13-14 feet deep.  Also, we had reports where crappie is being caught in 3-4 feet of water in the pads….with jigs.  The people trolling are using midnight, acid rain, bubble gum and blue/black/chartreuse.  Reports on locations was from Mews Creek to Hammock Creek.

Bream/Shellcrackers - Good reports on shellcrackers and bream…in the creeks..no reports of any on the bed…however, the full moon is coming up so the bream should be getting ready to go the bed.  Full moon May 27th.

Catfish - Good reports on catfish all over the lake….6-8 feet deep.

Bass - Bass are on the points…. but mostly on the banks…top water plugs and worms.

Crappie - The crappie are still bitting in the creeks 13-14 feet deep.  Also, we have had good reports on crappie 3-4 feet deep in the pads…..with jigs.  The people trolling are using midnight, acid rain, bubble gum and blue/black/chartreuse.  Reports on location is from Mews Creek to Hammock Creek.

Crappie; crappie are biting in the back of all creeks.  Many are caught with minnows.  The people trolling are using black/blue/chartreuse, popsicle, acid rain.

Bass; The bass are on the banks.  Best baits are spinner baits, top water plugs, and rattle traps. 

Bream; Many good reports of bream and shell cracker being caught in the back of the creeks. 

Catfish; biting all over the lake.

Crappie:  Biting all over the lake.  Boy Scout is very HOT along with just about any other area in the lake.  Several Limits were caught yesterday with many over 2 lbs.  The fish are in the back of the creeks getting ready to spawn.  They are also along the channel at Harvey Mill and Bell’s Lake.  Check out the new pictures on the photo gallery.

 BASS:  The bass are biting.  At the last American Angular Tournament, it took over 19 pounds to win.  The winners were:  Len Lindahl with 19.91, Second place was Lyles Brooks with 13.30 pounds and third place was Alan Morris with 11.43 pounds.  The big fish was caught by Len Lindahl 5.59 lbs.

 Bream:  Still a little early but one Crappie fisherman said he say he found Shellcrackers bedding in Boy Scout Creek in 10 feet of Water.

Catfish:  Biting all over the lake.
